The final day of the SOPC Main Event kicked off at 4:00 pm, when the top 14 players took their seats at the last two tables. Kastriot Delija started the final day as the chipleader with over 11 million chips and was followed by the Slovakian representative with almost eleven million.

After about two hours of play, we also got to know the final table, which was dictated by Michal Zimani with an excellent stack of 23 million.

The play at the final table was not slowing down and the shorts were gradually falling out. Shortly after nine o'clock, Kastriot Delija and our Michal Zimani got into deep heads-up play. The big favourite was the Slovakian representative thanks to his chiplead. At this point, Zimani was up to 54.5 million chips behind the line, while Delija had "only" 28 million, which was still more than 45BB.

The long heads-up game of almost 3 hours ended when the cards of both participants met. Zimani held while Delija was behind with a pair . After the turn it looked like the trophy would stay in Slovakia, but Rivera made sure that Delija suckered his opponent and went into a monster chiplead. In the end, he took out Zimani's last chips to become the SOPC Main Event champion. He took home a handsome €40,955 for the win, for which we congratulate him!
