She knocked out her husband and Negreanu at the end - Kristen Foxen the PGT Kickoff Champion

Daniel Negreanu had another title on the line, but was ultimately blown away by Kristen Foxen. It's her second career PGT tournament win and earns her valuable points towards the new Player of the Year scoring.

The PGT Kickoff is the first series this year for the new PGT Player of the Year scoring. The 2023 title ends up in the hands of Isaac Haxton.

PGT Kickoff First 4 Tournaments

The PGT Kickoff had 5 tournaments. The first was won by David Coleman for $120,150, the second was won by Dylan Weisman for $121,500, the third winner was Justin Young for $105,850, and the fourth tournament was dominated again by Daniel Coleman, this time for $73,800.

The final fifth NLH tournament had a buy-in of $10,100 and thanks to 50 entries, a prizepool worth $500,000 was shared. Cash prizes awaited 8 players and the chipleader of the 6 seat final table was Daniel Negreanu.

But it was Kristen Foxen who started to claim the final table, sending home her own husband Alex Foxen. Thanks to her, he finished in 5th place with a $40,000 prize.

Kristen eventually made it to the final heads-up where she was pitted against original chipleader Daniel Negreanu. Kristen handled Daniel handily as well, becoming the champion of this tournament with a prize of $165,000. It is her second career PGT win and also earned her valuable points towards the new points standings. Daniel Negreanu took home $105,000 for his second place finish.

Kristen Foxen is currently in second place on the leaderboard with 429 points. David Coleman is in first place with 590 points. Third place is occupied by Dylan Weisman with 265 points. Daniel Negreanu is currently in 6th place with 210 points.
