Punnat Punsri is chipleader of the record-breaking Main Event WPT Cambodia!

Main Event WPT Cambodia absolutely demolished the guarantee, and today the advancers will fight for a share of the 2.4 million prizepool! At the head of the day 2 advancers is Thailand's number one Punnat Punsri.

After the WSOPC festival in Rozvadov, the world poker calendar was brightened by the WPT stop in exotic Cambodia. The poker festival has been running there since last week, attracting players from all over the world. Hundreds of them jumped into the Main Event, which lured players with a $1 million guarantee. Player interest was huge, and the guarantee was smashed during flight 1A!

As for the Main Event itself, it was an incredible success, with the $3,500 buy-in being cashed a total of 760 times over the two days of play. As a result, players sent the million-dollar guarantee into oblivion, and the final prizepool value is up to $2,432,760. Cash shares from this pot await the top 95 players, with the event champion taking home a fantastic $441,546!

Leading all advancers is Thai number one and Triton event regular Punnat Punsri, who will unwrap a stack worth 528,500 (176bb) to start the day, while other advancers include German pro Dominik Nitsch (208,700), 2018 WSOP Main Event runner-up Tony Miles (51,000), and PS Players Championship event champion Aliaksand Shylk (50,000).

Play resumes on Saturday at 11:30am local time in the blinds at 1,500/3,000/3,000. We're expecting a bubble burst during the day, and we wish all the players good luck!
