Parker Talbot wins fifth WCOOP title in a row, Astedt wins third, Espen Jorstad wins one

Parker Talbot is putting on an incredible performance at the ongoing WCOOP, winning his fifth title in the last two weeks. Niklas Astedt is trying to keep up his pace and has managed to win three titles in the same amount of time. On top of that, he also managed to make a profit at the WSOP Online and notched up over $250,000. One WCOOP title was also claimed by 2022 WSOP Main Event champion Espen Jorstad.

Parker "tonkaaaa" Talbot has been making frequent appearances in our articles lately, and he can only owe that to his success. Last night he notched his fifth straight WCOOP title, and his ninth overall. This time he was the winner of the Badugi Championship, taking home $18,803.

Niklas "Lena900" also won his third WCOOP title in a row, and his tenth title overall Astedt. He was the winner of the $10,300 buy-in, 65 entries and $650,000 prizepool PKO. Niklas defeated Patrick "pads1161" Leonard in the final heads-up to add $188,989 to his title.

Niklas also cashed in another PKO tournament, this time with a buy-in of $1,050, 580 entries and a prizepool of $580,000. He earned $23,858 for 7th place. In addition, he cashed in a WSOP Online side event, where he finished second for $34,778.

That's still not all! Niklas also made it to the Saturday Secret KO HR (Mystery) final table with a buy-in of $1,500, 493 entries and a prizepool of $702,525. Here he finished in 7th place with $12,232 in prize money, bringing his total earnings in these tournaments to $259,858. Leonard Maue also played in this tournament, finishing in 2nd place and earning $46,945.

The 2022 WSOP Main Event champion Espen Jorstad, who goes by "Hymn2Ninkasi" in the virtual world, also took home the title from the current edition of the WCOOP. Espen was the winner of the $530 PKO Bounty Builder High Roller, earning $20,747.

Another well-known name is Roman "Gogac the Sniper" Hrabec, who narrowly missed out on winning the WCOOP title. He was the runner-up in the $1,050 NLHE (6-Max, Turbo), with 224 entries, where he took home $32,179. He was defeated in the final heads-up by Austrian player "Thiryyyy", who won the title and $43,283.
