Euro Poker Million heads to day 2, guarantee almost passed

These days, King's Resort Rozvadov hosts the Euro Poker Million tournament with a guarantee of 1 million euros, which is held for the first time in the Mystery Bounty format. 257 players have already made it to Day 2, and more may join today.

The Rozvadov poker room has once again teamed up with the Italian EuroRounders organisation to bring the Euro Poker Million back to its home turf. Now, however, the festival is called Mystery Bounty Edition and mysterious envelopes with bounties await the players.

The buy-in for the tournament is €245+€45+€200 bounty and the guarantee is €1,000,000. Included in this amount are 12 tickets to the WSOP Europe Main Event worth €10,350.

Current numbers and advancers

There's one last morning Turbo Flight to go, after which play will have already moved into its Day 2. The current entry count is currently at 2,146 entries, leaving only about 100 entries short of the guarantee, so the organisers don't have to worry about topping up. Twelve percent of the entries from each flighter could advance to Day 2, and 10 percent of the entries will make it to the ITM.

Right now, there are already 257 entries in Day 2. The chipleader here is Romanian player Robert Georgian Fluereci with a stack of 1,620,000. This is what the top 5 stacks look like in day 2:

3.Robert Nechifor DascalescuRomania1,480,000

While we don't know how much the winner will take home yet, what we do know is the amount of the biggest bounty in the envelope. This one is worth a whopping €100,000. Day 2 of the Euro Poker Million Mystery Bounty Edition will kick off at 17:00 on blinds of 5,000/10,000/10,000 and players will play 50-minute levels.
