EPT: Dvoress champion of €25k High Roller, ME FPS stream today

After the success of the FPS Main Event, the High Roller FPS has seen similar record numbers, and every tournament in Paris shows that we have something to look forward to in the Main Event. The Live Stream series kicks off today as we get to know the ME FPS champion together.

Record-breaking FPS Main Event goes down to the wire

Three days of play at the record-breaking ME FPS have taken care of the necessities, and the last six players remain in the field from the once 4,149 entries. They will meet on the TV table today from 13:00 in a battle for the title and the €470,830 prize, but you'll be able to follow their journey live via Live Stream. The closest player to the title at the moment is home player Enis Rouissi, the total chipcount looks like this:

TheHigh Roller FPS didn't let embarrass itself either
.

The success of the FPS Main Event was followed by the €2,200 High Roller, which produced a total of 1,794 entries over two flights. Compared to last year's numbers (910 entries), this is also almost double the number of entries. There are 268 players who are certain to return to the Day 2 tables today, sharing a prizepool worth €3,444,480 between them.

The chiplead is currently held by Spain's Omar Del Pino, but the field is full of familiar faces. Some of the players who will be in action today are Parker Talbot, Maria Konnikova, Benjamit Chalot, Max Neugebauer, Adi Rajkovic, David Lappin, Sylvain Loosli, Dara O'Kearney and Benny Glaser.

The €25k event trophy goes to Canada

As we mentioned yesterday, the second of the series of high rollers didn't manage to see their champion during the first day of play, and so the last three players returned to play the next day. The playoffs didn't go as expected, as chipleader Tamas Adamszki was the first to bust out (€211,400), but on the other hand, short Daniel Dvoress managed to pull this tournament all the way to a win and a prize of €444,840.

Great action in the €50k Super High Roller

The most adventurous players could also measure their strength yesterday in the first day of the €50k Super High Roller, which produced 51 entries during the day. These represent a prizepool worth €2,399,040, but these numbers are not yet final as registration is still open. A total of 31 players successfully made it through the sieve on Day 1, which is currently led by Spaniard Juan Pardo followed by Duca ten Haven and Niklas Astedt.
