Eleven days full of the best poker - EPT Monte Carlo starts today
The most prestigious and oldest poker series on the old continent writes beautiful stories every year, and this year is no exception. It has prepared an interesting mix of permanent stops and new locations for players, thanks to which everyone will find something for themselves. The last one was the premiere stop in Paris two months ago, which exceeded expectations and broke many records. The Main Event itself became the largest in history that ever took place outside of Barcelona, and Romanian qualifier Razvan Belea was certainly happy about it, as he turned a $530 online satellite into a lifetime €1,170,000.
From the new premises, however, the EPT series is now moving to the well-known roots of the Principality of Monaco, where the legendary Le Casino will host this series for the sixteenth time. In general, this stop is considered the most lucrative, the brightest, but also the most expensive for players (if you do not count the extended PCA in the Bahamas).
We will know the name of this year's champion already on May 6, but until then we have 11 days full of great poker waiting for us. A total of 53 trophies will be handed out during them, and the buy-ins for the main tournaments will also range from €330 to €100,000 this time. There will be Super High Rollers tournaments interesting for the audience, the popular Mystery Bounty format, and even a smaller version of the EPT, which will bring a trio of tournaments promising large player fields as part of the FPS subseries.

- 2,200€ FPS High Roller (29.-30.04.)
- 100,000€ EPT Super High Roller (29.04-01.05.)

- 25,000€ EPT High Roller (04.-06.05.)
Of course, there can only be one king, but even this time, the eyes of all present will be mainly focused on the €5,300 Main Event. The one at the turn of the months (April 30 and May 1) will bring two introductory days, after which we will gradually move until the name of the champion is revealed, who will be crowned on Saturday, May 6. Will it be possible to surpass last year's second biggest EPT Monte Carlo, in which Marcelo Simões from Brazil took home the trophy from among 1,073 entries?
