Daniel Sepiol has another title, winning the second WPT Alpha8 Trifecta and taking home $672,200

Daniel Sepiol has been on a roll in recent months and yesterday he added another title to his resume. This time from the second WPT Alpha8 Trifecta.

A few days ago, the first of three tournaments in the WPT Alpha8 Trifecta series, part of the Wynn Summer Classic, took place at the Wynn Las Vegas Casino. Each tournament has a $25,000 buy-in. The second of the WPT Alpha8 Trifecta series had its final day yesterday, bringing 108 entries and a prizepool of $2,581,200. A $672,200 prize awaited the winner here.

After a week back at the final table

The ITM was open to 14 players with a mincash of $48,000. Just ahead of the final table, in 10th place, was German player Dominik Nitsche with a prize of $67,000. Names like Christopher Vogelsang, Samuel Ju, Chino Rheem, Mikita Badziakouski, and Daniel Sepiol sat at the final table.

It is Daniel Sepiol who has been having the run of his life in recent months. He won the WPT World Championship in December 2023, the PGT High Roller in April 2024 and added a WSOP bracelet in June. Last week he finished seventh in the first Trifecta tournament and this time he's already the winner of the second edition.

Daniel defeated Jonathan Cohen in the final heads-up to claim the full $672,200 winner's prize. With this amount, he increased his live tournament winnings to over $8 million.
