Our very own SpadePoker Tour is back! The fourth edition raises the bar once again, bringing a CHF 300,000 guarantee to the Grand Casino Liechtenstein ! Are you coming with us?
Just over a year ago, our very own SPADEPOKER TOUR saw the light of day as we strive to bring great poker, lucrative structure and a TV show to different areas in European countries. After an opening stop at the Banco Casino in Bratislava, wherePato Kunik was crowned champion., we had two stops at the Grand Casino Liechtenstein, and that's where we'll be back next month!

The buy-in for the Main Event is set at CHF 660, for which you will get a lucrative highroller tournament structure - a 60,000 starting stack, 40-minute levels and late registration open for 8 levels in the opening days .
All of the advancers from the seven flights will then be welcomed on Sunday Day 2, which will already be livestreamed by our production team. Its aim will be to form the final day's cast, who will play for the biggest shares of the prizepool on Monday 26 June from 18:00 !

Today's final day fulfilled its purpose and crowned a Spadepoker Tour Main Event champion!
At the start of the day, we waited for the original eleven players to form the final table, and only one of the 8 successful players made it to the final table, and only one of them could become the winner. However, the other finalists also went on to win some nice prize money, and the top 5 also won a ticket to WPT Prime Lichtenstein:
The three-hundred-thousand-guarantee tournament, the biggest the Spadepoker Tour has ever given players, produced 452 entries in the opening flighters, and 116 successful poker players made it through to Day 2. From that number, 11 players emerged to battle it out for the final table and the win on today's final day. Gheorghi Oprea held the chip lead for most of the final day, but in the end Lorenzo Arduini took over and managed to work his way to victory before the clock struck midnight, taking home a cool CHF 58,180 in prize money and a beautiful trophy without a deal. Congratulations on a great achievement!
We bid you farewell with today's live report, and look forward to watching the next great events with you. Good night!
The winner of the Main Event of the fourth edition of the Spadepoker Tour is the likable Lorenzo Arduini! He is the first person in SPT Main Event history to win this tournament without a deal, and for first place he takes home a handsome CHF 57,080, the winner's trophy and a ticket to the WPT Prime Lichtenstein Main Event!
Looking at the stacks, there wasn't much to think about in heads up play, and the first hand was decided right away - Loic Joseph moved all in with T 8 and Lorenzo Arduini called with A K on the hand. The last board of the Main Event was 2 K 5 J and A on the river, and Loic Joseph ends the tournament in a great second place for CHF 37,200 and of course a ticket to the WPT Prime Main Event in Liechtenstein. Congratulations on your success!
After chip-leading for most of the final day,Gheorghi Oprea ended up finishing third in the tournament for a handsome CHF 25,050 plus a WPT Prime ticket.
It was decided three-way all in after Loic Joseph found jacks on the button, Lorenzo Arduini found a pair of pocket fives in the small blind and Gheorghi found queens. Gheorghi's fate was magnified by a five on the turn, and Loic was down to his last 225k by heads up after that hand.
Carlos Henningsen found fives 5 5 on his hand and made it to all in against Lorenzo Arduini. On a board of 2 7 6 A 9, Arduini hit top pair with A J, knocking Henningsen out of the tournament and we are slowly but surely approaching the final heads up.
Carlos Henningsen finished fourth in the tournament for CHF 17,850 and also takes home a ticket to the WPT Liechtenstein Prime.
So for the third time it didn't work out, Cheba sends his last chips from the big blind with K 8 on his hand, Oprea calls and shows K 9. Board Q 3 7 9 T is on the chip leader's hand and Cheba is out of the tournament.
The player nicknamed Cheba finishes in 5th place in the tournament and takes home CHF 13,500 plus a ticket to the WPT Prime Lichtenstein Main Event!
Cheba calls all in from hj with 2.6m behind, but Loic Joseph finds A K on sb and calls his all in for 2.2m. After a board of 8 A T T 9 falls to 250k and Loic Joseph improves to 5m.
Immediately afterwards, however, he cuts the chip leader from the stack with A 5 and bounces back to 1m.
Unstoppable chip leader Oprea (11.5m) opens from the small blind to 500k, Daniele Lunario is all in with 1.3m in the big blind and calls with A 2 on his hand. Oprea calls, turns over Q T and right on the flop Q 8 6 hits a pair, turn 9 and no aces even on the river 5.
Daniele Lunario busts out of the tournament in 6th place and heads to the cashier for his first five-figure final table prize - a handsome CHF 11,000.
The second player to leave the final table was a player nicknamed Giovinco 87, who called all in for 1.2m with T-J on his hand and received a call from Lorenzo Arduini. The board K T 3 4 5fedLorenzo with A T.
Giovinco 87 finishes in 7th place in the tournament and takes home CHF 8,600 for his efforts.
Angelo Arossi was the first to leave the final table. He pushed his last 495k behind from the utg with T 9 on his hand, called by Loic Joseph in the big blind with 2.8m behind. The board came 5 4 K6A and Loic Joseph with Q 2 knocked Arossi out of the tournament. Joseph raises to 3.6m after this hand.
Angelo Arossi takes 8th place in the tournament for CHF 6,400.
Players enter the final table with the following stacks, with Gheorghi Oprea leading from the start of the final day:
The final "bubble boy" is Andy Graf, who bids farewell to the tournament in 9th place and takes home a cash prize of CHF 4,400.
We have a 40-minute break ahead of us, and then we move on to the final table!
While previous stages of the tournament were played in 40-minute levels, players will continue with 75-minute levels on the final day.
A Vegas player opened with K 8, Lorenzo Arduini made the bb call. Flop 8 9 3 both players check, on turn 7 Arduini bet 375k, Vegas call. He was trailing by about 1.1m at that point. On the river J Arduini hit two pair and called all in. Vegas assessed this situation as a good spot to bluff and called with a pair of eights. Lorenzo Arduini turned over a J 9 to eliminate Vegas from the tournament.
After this hand, the player with the Vegas nickname finishes 10th in the tournament, taking home CHF 3,600, and we are just one seat short of the final table.
The first player to finish in the tournament today is M.S., who entered the final day as a shortstack. He takes home a prize of CHF 3,600 for 11th place.
Let's also remind ourselves how much the players are fighting for today - everyone in today's final day has already secured at least CHF 3,600 and there is CHF 58,180 up for grabs for the winner. The top six finishers will also take home a ticket to the Main Event of the upcoming WPT Prime Lichtenstein, which kicks off at the Grand Casino on September 6.
You will be able to watch today's final day live stream with English and German commentary:
Gheorghi Oprea enters the final day as the chip leader and has managed to amass a hefty stack of 7,585,000!
Have a wonderful Monday evening my friends! For the third day, we've been following the Spadepoker Tour Main Event at the Liechtenstein Grand Casino closely with you, and today it all culminates in the grand finale! Who will be the winner of the fourth edition of this tournament and take home a great prize money of CHF 57,080 and a beautiful winner's trophy? Find out with us tonight.
By the end of yesterday's Day 2, we hadn't managed to find out the make-up of the final table, so 11 players will be sitting at the poker tables in tonight's final day of play. They will resume play with Level 15, blinds 60k/120k/120k and the average stack is 2,465,454.
The second day of play on the Spadepoker Tour Main Event is over! By the end of the day, 11 of the original 116 players from the opening flights have battled it out, so we won't know the final table until tomorrow. Players will enter the final day with the following stacks, led by strong chip leader Gheorgi Oprea
The final day is scheduled to start at Grand Casino at 18:00 and will kick off with the 25th minute of the interrupted Level 14 on blinds of 50,000/100,000/100,000. We bid you farewell for now, and will continue our live report from 18:00 to get to know the final eight together, from which only one will become the overall winner of the Spadepoker Tour Main Event and take home the cash prize of CHF 58,180 and the winner's trophy!
The last level of the second day of play begins, and after eliminations at the TV table, we are down to 11 hopefuls for the final table.
After a long time, we heard a seat open, when towards the end of level 13, Floori calls all in with the last 5bb behind. Carlos Henningsen Garcia Reis calls and turns over 7 7, the board 9K 9 A T and Floori with Q 6 is out of the tournament in 14th place for CHF 2,900.
Slowly but surely we are approaching level 14, and we are still 6 eliminations away from forming the final table. It looks like a scenario where players will play to the end of level 14 today and we won't know the final eight until tomorrow.
Stacks at avg 1,722,714:
The last 9 or so blinds are sent in by Lorenzo Arduini with 5 5 on the hand, called by a player called Vegas with T 9 on the hand. Board K Q 7 6 A and Arduini doubles his 550k to about 1.1m at an avg of 1,722,714.
Eight players will advance to the final day , which is scheduled for today (Monday 26.6) at 18:00 at the Grand Casino in Liechtenstein. There are currently 14 players fighting for advancement at the poker tables.
Meanwhile, Christian Anton Beck, Giuseppe Ditaranto, Michele Sotirios Georgiopoulus, Silas Germann, Phi Hung Nguyen, Kushtrim Terstena, Raphael Karim Frick and one player from the TV table, whose elimination can be seen in the live stream, have been eliminated from the tournament, bringing the players together on two tables.
There are 8 eliminations left before the end of the second day of play and we will get to know the final eight who will play tomorrow for a cash prize of CHF 38,300 plus a ticket to the WPT Prime Lichtenstein Main Event, and of course a trophy for the winner.
Loic Joseph of btn opens to 105k, Gheorghi Oprea calls. Flop J K 4, Oprea check, Joseph bet 75k, Oprea again just call. Turn 2 both players check and on the river comes an 8. Gheorgi bets 130k, Loic call. Georghi shows A J and Loic sends his cards into the muck. After this hand, Georghi has Oprea behind about 3m and Loic Joseph 2.6m.
With about 2.4m behind Gheorghi Oprea opens to 90k, Karim Raphael Frick calls from btn all in for 500k, Oprea calls. Frick turns over 4 4 against Oprea's A 9. The flop brings A A K, the turn a 7 and the board completes a 6, leaving Frick to the cashier and ending the tournament in 19th place for CHF 2,540.
In the meantime, 6 players have dropped out of the tournament, which means that we are joining two non-televised and one televised table, and the players will take a 15 minute break.
We're currently playing on four tables, including one on TV, which you can watch on the live stream with German commentary here and English commentary here.
Day 2 of the Spadepoker Tour Main Event is being played until the final eight or 14th level is formed.
A brutal showdown took place on table 25, where on a flop of K 7 Q Andy Michael Graf hit a set of sevens 7 7 7 and opposite seated Constantin Alexandru Grova nut flush with A 4 on his hand. Graf bets 75k, Grovu calls. Turn J both players check, but another jack J lands on the river to complete Graf's full house. Grovu bets 100k and Graf turns all in and takes the pot.
The last 39 players are fighting to advance to the final day, meanwhile the following players have left the tournament in ITM positions:
On table 26, two players, including the one mentioned in the previous post, unfortunately heard the seat open within a few minutes.
The very next hand after Hofmann's double up, a player with the nickname Belisaria(48. CHF 1,640) busts out of the tournament after a shove with Q 9 on his hand, his tournament life is on the line with a player on set 3 with A K on his hand.
Well, a little while later, we hear from afar the seat open directed to Thomas Hofmann, who finishes in 45th place for CHF 1,640.
Also at the poker table in the SPT Main Event we see the Swiss Thomas Hofmann, who according to the hendon mob has won over $1 million in live events.
We pass by his table as he pushes the last 15bb or so from UTG and gets a call from a player on set 3. Hofmann shows J T, his opponent A 8. The flop comes 8 K 2, on the turn K but Hofmann is saved at the last moment by a J jack on the river, so he doubles his stack to about 500k behind at 602,022 avg.
After the first level you can find the first half of the Day 2 eliminations before the bubble burst in the live report, here you can find the other names whose tournament journey ended before the ITM placement:
In addition to the live report, you can also watch today's Day 2 of the SPT Main Event on Live Stream with English and German commentary:
It's here! The unlucky bubble boy was Fabian Wolz, who sent his last chips in with A-J and received a call from Loic Joseph with A-9 on his hand. Two T 2 7s came right on the flop and the turn 5 definitely ended Wolz's journey through the tournament just out of the money.
Congratulations to all the players in the ITM and fingers crossed for the road to the finals!
69 last players, one of them will leave without any prize money, the other 68 are guaranteed at least CHF 1.340
With 5 minutes to go before the 15 min break, we are down to the last 79 players in the tournament and we are approaching the bubble. Who will finish just out of the money?
Swiss player Stefan Jaeger managed to spin his hand for the tournament life - he goes all in preflop with about 4bb last. He finds himself heads up with Rhett Ramusch, who forced the third player to fold in the all in. He shows 3 3's against Ramusch's hand of A Q. The 3s on the board hold up and Jaeger improves to about 130k behind.
Play opens from early position with the player on set 2 for 12k, the call comes from Action Flo on btn and the blinds of two big names Ramon Lampert and Thomas Hoffman. The flop comes A 8 4, the player on deuce 18k, Action Flo calls, and Lampert and Hoffman fold. The turn shows K, seat 2 continues for 33k, Action Flo with the last 80k behind is obviously contemplating a shove, but in the end just calls again. On the river 6, the player on deuce shoves 50k and Action Flo finally folds, keeping the last 30k or so behind.
The following players finished in the first Day 2 level of the tournament:
Despite a slow start in the first few days of play, the guarantee was only narrowly missed - 28,800 CFH short of the 300,000 gtd in the end.
And we have bad news right at the beginning - Vladko Minarik is out of the tournament! In the opening minutes of Day 2, he managed to make 11b from his original 6b, but he 3-bet to CO with KJ , but the A A board came Q 6 2 J 7 on his hand, sending the only Slovak representative out of the tournament.
Players will battle it out on Day 2 today and Monday's final day for these amounts, plus the top 5 finishers will also receive a ticket to the Main Event of the upcoming WPT Prime Lichtenstein with a total guarantee of CHF 1,000,000:
13-15. 2.900 CHF
16TH-20TH 2.540 CHF
21.-25. 2.240 CHF
26.-30. 2.000 CHF
31-40. 1.800 CHF
41-50. 1.640 CHF
51ST-60TH 1.490 CHF
61-68. 1.340 CHF
We'll have to wait a while for the bubble to burst - 116 players have advanced from the initial flights to Day 2, and 68 of them will be ITM.
Have a great Sunday afternoon friends, and welcome to the live report from Day 2 of the Spadepoker Tour's 300,000 CHF Main Event!
The poker room at the Grand Casino in Liechtenstein is bustling at the moment, with the successful players from the opening flights taking their seats at the poker tables and unpacking their bags of chips. Today's Day 2 starts at blinds of 2,000/4,000/4,000 and will be played until the final table or Level 15 is formed.
In the first few minutes, we'll be keeping a close eye on the only Slovakian who managed to advance to the second phase- Vladek Minarik, to see if he can make up for the bittersweet taste of yesterday's conclusion and multiply his 6bb shortstack.
Fingers crossed for all players!
The SPADEPOKER TOUR Liechtenstein Main Event will see the final turbo flight today, after which all of the Day 2 qualifiers will return to the tables. Their task today will be to form the final eight, who will play for the biggest shares of the prize pool tomorrow.
The successful players from Day 1F are now packing up their stacks and all we have to do is turbo tomorrow and move on to the next stage of the tournament.
The last two regular opening flights of the SPT 1E and 1F Main Event were played today at the Grand Casino. A total of 139 entries were recorded and 44 players advanced to Day 2, including the only Slovak in Day 2 , Vladko Minarik.
In the poker room next door, today's side event - the SPT Bigstack Freezout - is currently being played out, with the last 6 finalists battling it out for the win.
The last flight of the 1G turbo is scheduled for tomorrow at 12:00, and Day 2 kicks off at 16:00. That's all for today in the live report, we wish you a good night and will continue tomorrow from 16:00.
Antonio Albano sent in his last chips with A-Q on his hand, and a call came from a player named Filufa with pocket fives on his hand. Right on the flop comes a 5 Q 9, the turn sees one more hopeful Q, but the river brings a brick and so Antonio is out in Day 1F in the last level. As he leaves the poker room, he lets it be heard that he'll turn on the turbo tomorrow- fingers crossed!
Remini Camel opens to 7.5k preflop, receives a call from Antonio Albano. The flop comes 8 J 7, both players check. On the turn 5, Camel check, Albano strictly bets 15k, Camel call. The river brings the 4, Camel checks again and Albano snap raises with 25k. Remini Camel finally shoves and shows 9 9. Antonio Albano finally turns the cards over, and looking at the J J, Camel can be satisfied that he saved. A good fold.
Meanwhile, in the SPT Bigstack freezout side event, the final table has formed, and the following 9 finalists are battling it out to win CHF 2,740:
As Day 1F rolls into Level 11, we're down to the last hour and a half before the last regular opening fligh of the SPT Main Event. There are still 30 players battling it out to advance to tomorrow's Day 2.
The player with the Action Flo nickname re-raises preflop to 17.5k, the opener Franjo Cigula calls. A single-color flop comes 8 5 6, both players check. The 5 on the turn again with no action and the river comes the 9. Cigula bets 11k, Action Flo re-raises to 32k, Cigula after much thought calls. Action Flo turns over A Q and Cigula happily shows 9 T and wins a decent pot.
Egzon Krasniqi calls us from UTG that we have to write down a hand, so we go. From the big blind at that moment Michael Suter sends all in and Eqzon calls with his stack of about 2 average. Suter turns over J J. The flop comes 8 Q 2 and Egzon with Q T three pocket top pair, the turn 8, the board completes the 6 on the river and so Suter is out of the tournament and Egzon Krasniqi raises his stack again to around 350k.
In Fligh 1F, we continue with Level 9, and that means the end of the option to register late or re-enter the tournament. There are 41 players out of 66 entries battling it out in the tournament, and we'll know the final list of qualifiers at the end of Level 12.
Please find below the list of Day 1E qualifiers:
In addition to the Main Event, the second poker room is currently playing a side event, the SPT Bigstack Freezout, with a guarantee of CHF 8,000.
The tournament has seen 80 entries, and the last 25 players are battling it out in Level 12 to win a handsome CHF 2,740.
In the poker room, the smiling Egzon Krasniqi is unmistakable, with probably the biggest stack in front of him at the moment. In three games in a row, he has won heads up play with a player with the Vegas nickname.
In the first hand, they go heads up after a flop of 2 9 4 when Egzon cheerfully bets "nur zehn" 10k, Vegas calls. The turn comes the 2 and Egzon continues with 5k, the Vegas player calls again. The river A dispenses with the action. Vegas turns over fives and Egzon shows him a hit pair with K 9.
Immediately preflop, Krasniqi raises to 3.5k, Vegas calls. Flop 5 2 J Egzon awards Krasniqi for 5k, Vegas folds this time and we don't see any cards.
The situation repeats once more "noch einmal" when Egzon opens again for 3.5k, Vegas calls. The flop comes A A T, Egzon continues with 5k, Vegas calls. The turn J with no action, and on the river T Egzon bets a friendly 2k. Vegas call with queens on hand can only look unhappily at Egzon's flush with 3 4.
Flight 1E ended a short while ago and Vladimir Minarik was the only Slovak to make it to the second day of the SPT Main Event.
Unfortunately, he walked away from the packed stack in a bad mood, as he lost most of his chips on the last hand, losing jacks to his opponent's ace-ten. So he will start day two with around a 6bb stack.
Nevertheless, we congratulate Vlad on his progress, and will be keeping our fingers crossed that he manages to turn his luck to his side.
In the first fligh of today's Day 1E, Level 11 is currently underway and the last 28 players are still battling it out for the final two levels to advance to tomorrow's Day 2.
In Day 1F, players will have a 40-minute dinner break.
With 2 hours of late Day 1F registration and tomorrow's turbo still to go, there's still a tempting 84,000 CHF left for players to collect their guarantee!
Daniel Mani goes all in against Igor Szidor, who finds aces on his hand. However, right on the flop of 5 Q 4, Mani three-bets a set with queens, and Szidor already states that queens will be good. Hope is killed on the turn, however, as the Aaboard completes the 3 on the river, and Mani hears the seat open after this flurry.
Gennaro Carotenuto bets flop 7 8 4, three other players in the game call. The turn comes the 9, and Carotenuto, with T 6 on his hand, hits a gutshot. He 3-bets 25k, the player on set 3 sends a full, Carotenuto snap calls. The board completes the A, and Carotenuto's opponent heads up, taking himself out of the tournament with the J-J on his hand.
In Fligh 1E, the entry count has stopped at 73 and there are still 47 players fighting to advance to Day 2 of the Main Event in Level 9.
We will know the final list of those advancing after the completion of Level 12.
On table 22, four players get into the hand after Daniel Schwitter raises preflop from the CO and is re-raised to 5k by Rumata Yilmaz, Schwitter and two other players call. Flop 9 4 4 Yilmaz bets 12k, Schwitter 3-bets 26k, two players fold. Murat Yilmaz calls all in 29k behind, Daniel Schwitter calls. Yilmaz shows a T T against Schwitter's 6 6 and takes a nice pot after a 3 on the turn and a 9 on the river.
In the adjacent poker room, the players of fligh 1E, which was scheduled to start at 13:00, are currently on break.
Day 1E has seen 68 entries so far, and there are still 59 players fighting to advance to Day 2.
With more players joining us in the 1F flighter we're watching, the SPT Main Event has recorded 280 entries so far, meaning there's still a massive overlay of around CHF 115,000 in the tournament!
Welcome to today's live report! We're reporting from the poker room at the Grand Casino in Liechtenstein, where the Day 1F flight of the Spadepoker Tour Main Event is currently getting underway.
There are 15 players in the tournament at the start of the first level, the levels of the last regular flighter will last 40 minutes and late registration and re-entry is open until level 8.
Have a great Saturday folks, so today is the day to decide everything! With the SPT Main Event guarantee built on 455 entries, 190 entries so far means we 're not even halfway through yet! Today's action will be the deciding element of the entire tournament, with the last two regular flighters (from 13:00 and 17:00) more or less deciding how successful this event will be. After them, the Sunday turbo will be the last chance to advance!
You have a lot to look forward to!
As expected, the last flight of Friday night was the biggest of all the flights that have finished so far, and at the end of the registration phase it showed us a total of 68 entries. Of those, the top 18 players managed to advance by the end of the day, namely:
The second and final flight of the day has now closed its gates, and 38 players from the original 63 entries will return to the tables after the break. Among the familiar faces, we can still see names like Nokia 3310, Besnik Lalini, Pokerstern and Karim Frick. Which of them will make it through to Day 2?
While Day 1D just closed its registration gates a short while ago, the earlier flight 1C has already managed to get to know the names of its advancers. Out of the final 42 entries, the top eight consisting of the following names finally made it to the pack of stacks:
How does it look in the casino so far? Flight 1C has already closed its registration, the number of entries has stopped at 42. Flight 1D has just kicked off its fifth level, which means you have just over 2 hours to enter the tournament. At this point there are 37 players in the game out of the original 41 entries.
The scheduled highroller hasn't kicked off yet, so if you like high games we'll see you at Grand Casino Liechtenstein!
And at this very moment we are also opening the fourth flight of the SPT Championship, which started at 17:00 with the same structure.
So we have 4 levels left and the situation is as follows, we had 21 entries in total, 19 players in the game and 3 took the second chance. The satellite to the High Roller is lvl 4 and there are also 21 entries in the game with 20 players and 5 re-entries.
In this hand at the end of level 4, we got to the flop where Q K 8. The player Sascha Messmer pushes his ALL IN and the player right next to him Nicolas Marcel Bellaton calls. Sascha Messmer turns over K J and Bellaton does the sameK J. So far a split but with a nice prospect for a double up for Messmer. The turn comes with an unchanged 4. Only the river in the form of a 5 puts a gentle smile on the face for the player with hearts in his hand and conversely Bellaton just shakes his head. So S. Messmer takes home a pot worth around 30k.
Since we have a weekend ahead of us, today's first flight starts at an earlier time (13:00). Players will again be treated to a starting stack of 60,000, buy in for CHF 660, 40 minute levels with late registration open until level 8. The first level is already over and there are 9 players in play, one of which has already taken a second chance.
Have a great Friday afternoon friends, and we'll be reporting back to you today from the Grand Casino in Liechtenstein, where great poker action awaits us once again! Already at 13:00 the 1/C flight starts, at 15:00 the first satellite to the High Roller will start with a buy-in for CHF 110. At 17:00 the second 1/D flight of the day will start and one hour later, at 18:00, the High Roller will start ! And the last tournament with a buy-in of CHF 200 and a GTD of 8.000 starts at 19:00. You really have a lot to look forward to today !
Another Side Event during the SpadePoker Tour Festival was today's CHF 180 Thursday Turbo tournament with a guarantee of CHF 6,000. Out of 29 entries, the top four players eventually took home the prize money, having negotiated the following deal earlier in the morning:
At this point, we have closed late registration, with 28 players in the game out of 35 entries and 15 players taking advantage of the second chance. In the morning you will find the chipcount of the advancers here.
After the sixth level, the players had another break, during which we took a look at the biggest stacks in the game. At the front of the peloton at the moment are:
Late position player Daniel Schwitter opens for 2,200, to which Marki calls after his bench, and Neo calls from the button. The flop shows 4 6 6. D. Schwitter calls, Marki bets 2,000 right behind him and both players call. The turn lands us a 5. D. Schwitter grabs chips moments later and throws 11,000 on the board, to which Marki responds with a quick call and Neo folds. And just like that, we're down to river A. Here the game slows down a bit and after a moment's thought, D. Schwitter bets 10,000, Marki takes his time and responds with a re-raise to 33,000 where he gets an almost insta snap call. The opponents' cards are turned over and Marki shows us 7 9 and D.Sch. 6 T.
In addition to the ME SPT, we also have the Thursday Turbo tournament on the side tables, where the buy-in is CHF 180 and the guarantee is CHF 6,000 + Ticket to the ME. Levels here we have 15 min unlimited re-entries and late registration to level 10. We are currently running level 8 and we have 19 players out of 20 in the game and 2 re-entries, which means we are at risk of over 2,000 CHF overlay !
The tournament has been underway for 120 minutes and so far we have 23 players out of 24 in the game, with four having already taken second chances. If you happen to be going to the tournament and are lacking a bit of motivation, check out the short recap of the last SPT in Liechtenstein which will definitely kick you into gear !
La Vendetta raises to 1,200 from early position and is called by three players, Daniel Schwitter from button position, FC Bayern from SB and Thomas Hartmut Hardt from BB. On the flop we are shown 5T 6. The SM and BB players check where La Vendetta bets 3,000. The player from the buttom position calls and the remaining two players fold. On the turn we are shown a J. La Vendetta doesn't hesitate and bets 3,000 again to which Daniel Schwitter again calls. On the river, the dealer turns over a 4. We get a third barrel from Vendetta for 5,000 whereupon Schwitters calls ALL INOM. La Vendetta takes a look at the hand, shakes his head, and folds.
We were just a few hands in and a player with the FC Bayern nickname got into an ALL-IN situation with a 16k preflop stack with Big Chick covering. He had A8on his hand and his opponent showed QQ.The flop came 9Q 2 which reduced the chances considerably, but already turn 3 this card definitely ended the hopes of a double-up. To make matters worse, the dealer turned over the last Q on the river to complete this beautiful runout.
I got into this hand in medias res and we already had four players on the turn, where the pot was already about 10k and the board was 3622. On the turn the player Kujtim Bajrami bet for 11k, the player right next to him with the nickname Big Chick tanked for about two minutes and decided to call, whereupon another FC Bayern player after thinking for a moment made the call. To make matters worse, the last player to call, Thoas Hartmut Hardt, responded with a snap shove. Kujtim Bajrami and Big Chick folded after a moment's thought but the FC Bayern player folded again after a moment's wait and gave the call, showing us 5,4 whereupon T. H. Hardt turned over23. The river was the 9 and the FC Bayern player was left with about 16k behind the line after this hand.
As yesterday, Flight 1/B starts at 18:00. We have 15 players registered for the first level so far. The tournament structure is the same, so players start with a stack of 40k and have two attempts. Levels are 40 minutes long and late registration is open until level 8.
Have a great Thursday afternoon friends, and we'll be reporting back to you today from the Grand Casino in Liechtenstein, where we've got some great poker action in store for you! This one will kick off at 15:00 with the 70 CHF Satellite to the evening Fligh 1/B, which is scheduled to start at 18:00. There will also be a side event that kicks off at 19:00 and specifically we are talking about the180 CHF Thursday Turbo. You have a lot to look forward to!
The opening day of the SPT Liechtenstein Main Event is over, and the top four players from the original 30 entries have packed their stack for Day 2.
The opening flight of the SpadePoker Tour Liechtenstein produced a total of 30 entries today, of which the last 10 players are currently in play. There are still two more levels of play to go, after which we will know the names of the first semi-finalists. So far, chipleaders Vladimir Gerner and Claudio Piceci are the closest, will they manage to bag their stacks?
After the sixth level, the players had another break, during which we took a look at the biggest stacks. At the front of the peloton are:
A little while ago, we witnessed a big hand where three players went all-in before the flop. Claudio Piceci from position turns over K K Short Faceman has K 7 under his hand and last to act is Schmid Kaspat with Q T.
A board of T 4 5 4 7 has kept pocket kings in the lead, and so the result of this hand is Faceman's seat-open, Kaspat folds for around 16k and a happy Piceci takes a massive pot!
We also have two representatives of our country in the game - Vladko Minarik jumped into the Main Event and Dávid Berdis is trying his luck in the PKO event!
In addition to the Main Event, we are also playing the SPT Progressive Bounty event in the main poker room today, where we currently have 36 players (42 entries) in Level 5.
In the third level it looks like we have 19 players registered so far, the re-entry option has been used twice and one player has already managed to drop out. Already in the opening hand we have the champion of the first SpadePoker Tour in Liechtenstein, Ramon Lampert!
