Jonathan Tamayo is the new champion of the record-breaking WSOP Main Event
Despite the fact that online legend Niklas Astedt was sitting in the final table, it wasn't him who was the winner of the Main Event. Amateur player Jordan Griff could have had a chance at a Moneymaker-style fairy tale. But that didn't happen either, and the new poker champion is Jonathan Tamayo, who was advised by 2015 Main Event champion Joe McKeehen before the final table.
